Terms of Reference Of The Inter Faith Dialogue and Education Commission Of The Ecclesiastical Province of Canada

To encourage and foster: Inter Faith Dialogue and Educational Events in the Dioceses of the Ecclesiastical Province of Canada.

• Support and Nurture: Initiatives, activities and programs already in place in various dioceses, towns and cities.
• Liaise with: Groups already engaged in Inter Faith Dialogue and Cooperation.
• Initiate Educational Programs with:
  • The Clergy at clergy conferences and retreats.
  • The Licensed Lay Readers at their conferences and gathering.
  • members of the Diocesan Synod.
  • Interested Parishes.
• Communicate with the Commission on the Theological Education in the Province and Theological Education in the Communion (commission of the Archbishop of Canterbury) to include Inter Faith Dialogue and Education in their Deliberation.
• Request the Theological Schools in the Province to host seminars and ongoing educational events on other faith traditions.
• Encourage dioceses to establish commission to develop Natural Apologetics for their situation.
